Malacca Tranquerah Road, where I lived until 1992. One of the narrowest passages into the town centre, Tranquerah was for long Malacca's northern gateway (where cars to and from KL had to pass through) until the completion of the North-South Highway. I went to Tranquerah English School (TES) at the further end of this road and lived at its mid-way point, where nearby was (i) the famous Tranquerah Kuay Teow Soup, (ii) Methodist Girl's School, (iii) the Badminton Hall, and (iv) Wesley Church where I attended kindergarten. |
